Evolving high-quality software throughout its lifetime
Software is crucial in modern society, affecting all aspects of our lives. However, the high-tech industry faces challenges: rapid software growth, declining quality, and expanding societal expectations. Developing high-quality software efficiently, managing existing software and addressing collaboration challenges are key concerns. Answering these questions is complex, but common themes emerge: digital twins, software architecture, software verification, software evolution, and social software engineering. The research of the Software Engineering and Technology (SET) cluster spans diverse methodologies, including proving theorems, building systems, analyzing data from software development archives, and conducting surveys and interviews.
